Hi Vitaly,

I created a work item, and discussed the issue in a little more detail, here.  Let me know if I can help in any other way!

Brandon

EDIT: Alex moved the work item to the IFrame project; link is updated above.

Wow! It looks like I started something here. Thanks for everyone's interest in my problem and a potential new Iframe feature.

In the interim, does anyone have any suggestion for a "workaround" using a different module or method? All I need to do is display static HTML files located under the Portal Root within a DNN Page.

Here's the scenario. I'm collaborating on a DNN Website with a group that uses a content authoring/publishing program that can produce HTML content. They want to create the content in their system and somehow "publish" it to the DNN website. If they could publish "bits and pieces" of the page content to a folder under the Portal Root then I could "include" it in modules on the page. The Iframe module works for this, but cannot be searched.

If it were up to me, I'd just copy and paste the HTML into a Text/HTML Module and be done with it.  But they want to "maintain" the content in their system and republish it from time to time to the DNN Site.  Sheesh!

Thanks in advance and sorry to be a pain.

 David,

I don't know of any module to suggest to you. However, check 3rd party IFrame modules and, also, post your question on Configure It or Extend It forums. May be someone there will know...

Thanks Vitaly,

After much searching I found a 3rd Party Module called "Auto Size Iframe" from DNNSpired.

This seems to work very well so far and supports ISearchable.
