I'm using DNN 4.4.1 and am having the same problem as the first poster: "DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition" is passed as a parameter-value in the request in stead of the value of the correct custom user property.

Does anyone have any solution?

Regards,

Bas

I just tested this issue with the new IFrame03.02.01 and it worked as it should.

I'm also using IFrame 3.2.1 and still having the same problems (Rather than the values being filled in on the form I have "DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition" entered into the form field.). Maybe we are doing something wrong? Where can we find info on how-to-use the 'custom user property' as a querystring-parameter?

Now I have an 'Externaluserguid' in the custom users profileproperties. I defined a queryparameter 'uid' of type 'custom user property' with value 'Externaluserguid'. This gives me 'DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition' as parameter-value, but when i use 'ExternaluserguidX' (does not exist), the parameter-value remains empty. This indicates that DNN DOES recognize my custom user property, but does not process it correctly?

Please help...

Thanks in advance

Willem

I have to confirm the bug!

The issue is inside IFrameParameter, and I am going to change line 288 from

Return Convert.ToString(objUser.Profile.ProfileProperties(TypeArgument))

to

Return objUser.Profile.GetPropertyValue(TypeArgument)
