Hi Stefan I am quite new to this and have tried to follow you steps all the way but am getting a little lost. I have a am IFrame with an order form in it I would like to pass the logged in user name to the iframe. in the iframe I have a label wich must be populated with the user name logged in. From this the additional details of the user are populate on the page. I know that you have most probabily explained this all in this post. i was just wondering if there was an exsample I could look at ?

Dont know if my last post went through. Stefan, I have attempted to follow the steps you have explained above. I do not have much experience with this and am getting lost along the way. My senario is such I have a order form which is inside an IFrame. On the order form I have the user deatils. The first field being the username/id I would like this to get populated from the current user logged into my DNN site. This is imporatant as there is additional information which needs to be popluated on the order form and is client specific. I know that it woulds be better to create a module, instead of using an IFrame. however I have not had much experience with creating modules. Due to time constyraints would like to resolve this issue and then migrate the development into a module format

In the IFrame Options, click Add QueryString Parameter, select UserId (or Username, or w/e else), and (to the left of that dropdown) type in a name you want to use as parameter name. Done.

Got that I went to the options, in the Name I called it "userLoggedOn" In the Value I selected the "User's Disply Name" and then I saved it. I would like to know now, in the page within the IFrame how am I going to get the parameter "userLoggedOn" and then display it in my label "Label1" ???
