I don'tthink it has to do with resources available. I too have this problem, and the thing is, I've the module installed but don't use it anywhere on the portal!

This error has at least been around since DNN version 04.05.01 with media module version 03.02.03

I get the same error and even though the client had installed the module in the module definitions, there were never any instances of the module placed on any pages anywhere on the site.  Why would it give this error if the module was never even used?  It is a definite bug in the dnn code.  One site I have does not have this problem, it was a clean install of 4.5.5 that was then upgraded to 4.6.2, and I don't think the media module was ever installed in the module definitions.  The site that does have the problem/error is on a different web host, was a clean 4.5.3 install upgraded to 4.6.2, and did have the media module installed.  I tried uninstalling the module with "delete all files" checked and the error persisted.  Then I reinstalled the module and also still get the error.   It seems like something with the module itself, but I couldn't say for sure, if I knew I would also probably know how to fix it, but I'm not that knowledgeable...  The event log error is identical to the one previously reported.

Did you guys see this post?

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/42/threadid/134732/scope/posts/threadpage/2/Default.aspx

I just installed DNN 4.7 and the latest Media Module 3.02.03 and am having the same problems.  In the event log it appears that whenever the EventQueue throws that error the application shuts down and restarts.  That would explain the long page loads.  The whole DNN app has to reload every minute or two.  Very annoying!

I went into the EventQueue table and found the offending entry for the media module and set its IsComplete value from False to True as was recommended in the above referenced post.  We'll see how it goes.  I wonder if the reason the error persists even after you've un-installed the Media Module is because that entry is still in the EventQueue table?  Checking to see if it's still there after un-install and removing it if it is may resolve the issue.

Crossing my fingers.

Matt

Matt,

Did you have any luck with this?  I am using SSMSE to manage SQL Express and I cannot see the tables, although that is a different issue that I need to deal with.

The media module is one of the oldest of the projects, and it would be nice to see it cleaned up to work properly!

Cheers
Dave

I had a corrupted installation due to improperly set connection settings.  All is much better now!
