Hmmm... If those files were accessible via the API, they'd also be accessible through these URLs:

http://www.h2osmartsystemsint.com/site/LinkClick.aspx?link=files/images/user's--manual-h2o-250.jpg&tabid=63&mid=399

Alas, they're not.  Did you FTP these files?  If you have, can you perform a recursive sychronization using the File Manager in your Admin Menu?  Otherwise, are there any other attributes of these files and/or their folder that you can tell me about?  Are they in a standard or secured folder, for example?

I uploaded them via the File Manager; I did the synchronization just in case anyway. It does not seem to be related to the files themselves. Actually I already achieved the desired effect in an HTML module that you can see on the right pane in the page; the media module is on the bottom pane. Incidentally the HTML module did not allow me to link to the image, only pages, so I had to manually code the proper HTML (but that's a post for another forum). I would like to resolve the issue anyway so I can use the module in the future. I like the media module and besides I want to make sure there is not a deeper/greater issue.

I reinstalled and also repaired the module several times always with an "Installation Successful" message. According to the error message, the problem is not finding the images it's finding the "LinkClick.aspx" file.

To test this I tried to access the file, without all the other parameters, and got the same error. I also used an HTML module and changed a hyperlink from a simple link to a tracked one; so instead of using the actual URL it would use the "LinkClick.aspx" file and the same error came up.

Since the media module uses the"LinkClick.aspx" file in the "src" value as well as in the "href" I figured that's why the image is not showing at all. What I can't figure out is why the system is not creating that "LinkClick.aspx" file?

LinkClick is a built-in handler function of DNN.  It relies on the DNN API to be able to find the files, via the given querystring attributes. This is why I suggested using the file synchronization.

What kind of folders do those files sit in?  Are they standard or secure folders?  If they are secure folders, what kind of secure folders?  Is this a web farm?
