Try the latest release of the News Feeds (RSS) module v04.00.01 and see if it persists.  Also, when reporting your issues, listing the versions of DNN and the module version that is giving you the issue helps others troubleshoot.

Thanks,

Error Fixed. I downloaded the latest version of the News Feed Module (04.00.01) and the latest version of the Blog Module (03.05.00) and that fixed it. For the record I'm using the latest publich available version of DNN (04.09.00).

Thanks,

I am new to the DNN program. I tried the new Newsfeeder 4.0.1 version on one page of my DNN 4.9.1 site and it gave me trouble the first couple of times, but somehow started woking. I then added another newsfeeder module to another page with a different rss feed and got the error:

Feed 'http://vmware.simplefeed.net/rss/?f=88f10930-01de-11de-23f8-0019bbc54f6f' could not be loaded. Error: The element 'channel' has incomplete content. List of possible elements expected: 'title, link, description, language, copyright, managingEditor, webMaster, pubDate, lastBuildDate, category, generator, docs, cloud, ttl, image, textInput, skipHours, skipDays, rating, item' as well as any element in namespace '##other'.

I put that feed into the google reader and it worked fine.

Post this information in the thread at the top of the News forum, Post Your Broken Feeds Here.  You might want to read through it for some insight into the issues.

Comparing rendering by browsers and other newsreaders won't help you troubleshoot an issue with the News v4.x module.  The underlying methods are different.
