But why is module still in RC and not released after so much time?

if i installed 4.7.0 and now there's 4.7.1, if i upgraded the module, the old survey will be lost or what, do you have any experience with this?

I needed to get my user's survey live so I updated to 4.7.1 (and the survey was not lost) but I was now able to save my settings.  Like a previous poster I am curious why the RC (which was available on 8/11) is still a beta in 3/12?  I'd like the confidence that the module I am using which _appears_ to be just fine, is "fully blessed."
