Is the procedure similar if i wanted to do the same also for the "Documents" module?

yes

The "Documents" module has the option of selecting "Log the user, date, and time for every link click" and then displaying the log ("Display" ), is it possible to have the same user controls also for the "Repository" module?

no, not unless you add the code to do so, and the code to do that would not be quite as simple as just sending an email

can i use Visual Studio 2005 instead of VS2003, if it will not cause any incopamtibility problems?

you mentioned that DNN3.X installation is needed for the modifications to the repository module. For this i need MS SQL Server 2000 and .Net framework 1.1.

Would it be possible to do the same with the DNN 4.X and VS2005 or Visual Web Developer 2005 (.Net framework2.0 and MS SQL2005Express) ?
