[Permalink] is broken and its a shame it affects the "Latest Uploads" or "popular Uploads" module as well.

Not sure what problems you have with search but for me it works 50% of the time as far as finding items. When it does find items the downloads seem to be working OK. When it fails, it just returns everything.

Also UPLOAD appears to be the default button. I think that the "GO" button for search should be default and Upload and Moderate should be links.

Hello nfx,

I just discovered with your post that it effectively affect the latest upload, popular upload and rated upload !!!!!!!!!
The bug is even worst that I imagine...

Anybody have a solution ??? It is not possible that people use this module with such bugs. Or people use other third part module ????

For the search, the problem is not present anymore on DNN 4.5.5 and repository .14

I have posted the latest Repository Module 'Development Build' at
http://www.gooddogs.com/dotnetnuke/Downloads/tabid/57/Default.aspx

I believe it fixes the issue reported here and in other links that refer to the wrong file/link being processed when a file is selected from a Dashboard module.

The dev build which contains the fix for this issue is 3.01.14 Install Build 35870.
PLEASE READ THE DISCLAIMER BEFORE DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING.

Upgrade in progress.....

Please take note of the log message (in event viewer) after the upgrade (03.01.13 instead of 03.01.14):

Module Upgraded: DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository.RepositoryController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Repository
Version: 03.01.13
Results: DRM3 version 03.01.13 upgrade...
Server Name: xxxx

I will keep you informed of the results of my test... I have confidence in your modification sfabian, I have applied it to my prod site (I done a backup beforehand... So I can switch back to the old one in case of problems...)

First test are very successfull !!! Old bugs with search and latest upload / most rated / most viewed are solved.
Permalink problem is also solved.

(For information, the bug with the dashboard was only present when the dashboard was put on another page than the repository page - now this problem is SOLVED).
I have also test the upload function, and approve function, as well as settings. I did not add any new repository. I am working with DNN 4.5.5.
Now, I will let my admin testing the upload/approve/... functions and users testing in real conditions. More informations tomorrow when we will have done the whole tests. You can visit my web right now, the latest repository is online, you can also do your own test (with search, latest upload / most viewed, ...)

Remaining problem (but not a bug, it is less critical): Moderator are still not able to EDIT unapproved item (the pencil did not show up in the page).

THANKS A LOT TO STEVE FABIAN who done a GREAT job !!
