well that's strange :)  All I do is inject the standard core URL control. Do you have the same issue with other modules that use the upload control?  Documents, Admin site settings (the logo file for example)?

sorry to hijack an old-ish thread (but I have the same problem).

I have given registered users and subscribers full access to a repository module.

ie. permission to edit the page, permission to edit the repository and permission to upload to the repository.

Registered users can do everything else to the repository - moderate and edit articles and even upload an existing document (located on the server) , but they are not seeing the 'browse' for a new document option.

We are using DNN  v5.1.4.
and SQL 2000.
Repository v 3.1.15

I managed to get the upload button to display when i changed this in the template.html  file:

changed from [URLCOTROLFILE] to just [FILE]
