nfx you shouldn't be getting that error unless you're already running under Medium Trust. Is that definitely the error you're getting?

dbreck, I did finally get my 4.3.1. working properly under Medium Trust and can't duplicate the error. I'll try testing on a true server but I'm not sure if I'll get to it before the weekend.

UNder IIS6 I don't see any 'trust' settings like in IIS5 is there something I can do temporarily to prevent the error?

nfx, are you running this on your own server? I'm not sure where you can set the trust settings in IIS but you might want to check your machine.config and the web.config that you have in your DNN install to make sure you haven't set them up as medium trust there.

Yes it is my own server. I had not touched the trust settings in those locations. I don't mean to sound stupid, but what exactly should those values be set to? In both locations the value is blank. When I tried to put in settings in either location, the website failed to load completely.

I'm itching for a solution. so far no one can upload. I can't even upload manually via file manager or ftp and select from a 'local' file like I used to with DNNPortal_Download.

If you never touched those settings I'm not sure what's causing the problem as Server 2003 is set a Full trust out of the box I believe. Do you have a URL that I so that I can see the problem?
