Sorry to open up this old post again, but I would like to do a similar thing with one main difference - have the SummaryField in BASIC mode and the DescriptionField in RICH mode. I followed the example you gave which allows me to alter allowing user to change the text editor mode independantly across both instances, but for some reason I'm not able to get both instances of the text editor to have independant views. If I set the summary field to "BASIC" and then description to "RICH", both fields go into "RICH" mode, and visa versa. Is this a known issue? Are there any other ways of getting round this issue in the repository module?

Thanks,

Paul
