How do you detect which rows belong to Role1  and which to Role2? I had got the idea that you store the Rolename inside a column.

However, there is no need to, though I can only guess your concrete requirements. The udt xml data contains the table context with a field "UserRoles" (and exactly only one row). It stores all RoleNames of the current user concated like |role1|role2|role3|

You can test it in XSL for example this way:

<xsl:if test="contains(//udt:Context/udt:Roles,'|role1|')">.....

I have links from other page and only login user after clicking link could see the udt page part contents based on its role.
