Import/Export was introduced with UDT 3.3.0, and I am not aware of any bug.

Please check whether the action menu offers Import/Export for the UDT table directly as a command for your module.

If not, your module defintion  setup might be broken. Please check host->modules->user defined table. Check whether IPortable is enabled or not. If not, hit the update button, and check again. If it is still disabled, you should come back and report.

If yes, you can export the content of the udt into XML files and import them in your new portal. Export (Portal) Content uses the same files, however there had been some issues inside iImport /Export if a single module was broken. This has been fixed some DNN releases ago.

However we extented IPortable over the time to support also newer settings. As we can't fix older versions, we encourage you to upgrade to 3.3.6 or 3.4.0, depending on your DNN version.
