Filter statement don work in XSl (yet). You need to apply this in XPath syntax in your XSL script, e.g.

 <xsl:variable name="currentData" select="udt:Data[udt:ItemA='Good']" />

Stefan,

I am trying to do something similar on a custom template with just a regular list. I think I have identified the place in the script I need ot filter and I have added the line in yellow:

 <xsl:template match="udt:Data" mode="list">
   <xsl:variable name="currentData" select="udt:Data[udt:SellorRent='Sell']" />
    <xsl:param name="from" select="1" />
    <xsl:param name="to" select="count(*)" />
   ...

SellorRent is a simple text column.
The system comes up with an exception. If I place the instruction somewhere else the system does not complain, but does no filter either.

What am I doing wrong? What's the meaning of "currentData", by the way, a system variable or needs to be replaced with something else?
I also tried something like:

<xsl:template match="udt:Data[udt:SellorRent='Sell']" mode="list">

No success either.

Thank you for your help.

Franco

Sorry, I managed to do it with the second method ('match'), exactly as I wrote it, in fact.

Franco

P.S. I look forward to a managed solution, coding the xsl files is really a nightmare for me...
