Sebastian's use case is a great one. I won't go much into details but I created a 'lite' issue tracker with this module. The email notification works great to notify the developers and testers of updated issues/enhancements entered in the 'issue tracker'. However, upper management wants a weekly report of all issues of that week + issues that have a status of 'Not Fixed'. This is where my suggested enhancement comes in to be able to send this 'report' via the email notification feature of the FnL module. It does not (and maybe cannot) have to have a trigger so it sends it automatically but if possible it would be nice. A simple send button would do the job after specifying a filter. Thus,  I could specify in the filter to send all records from this date A to date B (and if possible) + all records that have the value 'Not Fixed' in the 'Status' field.
