First step is to create a custom search form and to filter against [form:names]. In a second step this form needs to be created by an XSLT script, which creates list filled with distinct column values using Munchian grouping.

I would not call that "configure" anymore, it is a job for an experienced XSLT developer.

hmm, never worked with XSLT-scripts, left alone created one. What do you mean with creating a custom search form? Creating an aspx search form?

No, I am talking about a  plain html form. You might get the idea if you generate a new xslt script with the wizard with the (obsolete) search option enabled.

aha, I get it. Thanks, in the meantime I hope the forms and List module will be extended sooner or later with more filter capacities.

Stefan,

Can you offer any insight on how you would force the City sub-bullets to sort?  I know it's an xsl:sort select="?" but I'm struggling with where to put that and how to format it.
