OK - I understand how to send an email to the person who filled in the form but what I don't understand is how you include in that email the contents of that form.  How do you include into that email the input they entered in to the form?

Do you have a field of type 'Email' on one of the form?

type in [Email] (or the name the email field in square brackets in the 'To' area of Email Settings

In Email Settings - select Trigger: 'on new'

type in your email address to receive a copy of the form in the CC / BCC

In 'Page Related Settings - select Enable Email Notifications

(also make sure 'Form' is selected in the appearance radio button.

mark.

Is it possible to pull the email address of the user (from profile) into the columns (without asking or having to manually add their email address)?

ok, that's pretty amazing; I created a new "Email" column type; used the [User:Email] token in the Default Value; that field is now automatically populated; cha-ching.

I labeled the new field "Email" and then added [Email] to the CC field under the Email section. Blammo; new records, changed records, deleted records all now trigger notifications. Double cha-ching.

Thank you for the tip in the right direction; hmmm... need to blog about this one :)
