Hi, first post from me - would appreciate any help / advice!

I want to use the Form and List Module such that on Page 1, I display the entire list.

I need to enable certain columns in this full list to be a link such that, when clicked, the user is taken to Page 2 with the same list displayed, only this time filtered / subsetted by the value clicked in the column on the previous page - if you see what I mean!

I'm not a coder / developer, but I am pretty technical - but I'm trying to just use configuration where possible to build a site with DNN.

Regards, tobler.

if your first list sets a query string parameter within the link, the FnL instance on the second page may filter the content accordingly, using tokens.

Hi Sebastian,
I have managed to understand the use of the [Querystring:name] token on the receiving page in order to filter the form and list data - so thanks for that.
However, I am struggling a little bit with understanding the best way to set the link with querystring parameters in the first place.

I want the list to show all members attending all events in a local area, but want any user to be able to click a link on any event listed, and be directed to an "event" page, filtering the form and list in this instance to show all the members attending that event.

Could you advise on how best to achieve this please - been struggling trying to use the URL data type, or the Hyperlink advanced column setting and also not sure whether I should be using XSLT generators for example...

Thanks

Tony

Tony, I would use a calculated column with the caption being taken from the name
