Okay, I tried uploading the UDT 03.03.03 verion to the DNN 4.3.1 installation and still no good.

On another website running DNN 4.3.1, but using 03.01.00 version of the UDT module I can now see it working. I am not sure why this is, but will wait until there is updated versions of DNN core etc... There seems to be some issues with 4.3.3 at the moment?

Happy to use this other website at the moment for my intended use of the UDT module. Thanks leupold and good work and good luck with the module... it is very flexible and useful.

Cheers.

Have you checked module settings to make sure, that caching is turned off? I expect this will be better in 3.3.4/4.3.4, as caching will be turned off by default.

DNN 3.3.3 with the UDT 3.03.03.

I get this error when managing the table in super user mode...

Error: Manage User Defined Table is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. ---> System.ArgumentException: Parameter count does not match Parameter Value count. at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.AssignParameterValues(SqlParameter[] commandParameters, Object[] parameterValues) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteScalar(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.SqlDataProvider.AddField(Int32 ModuleId, String FieldTitle, Boolean Required, String FieldType, String Default, Boolean Visible, String ExtendedSettings) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.UserDefinedTableController.AddField(Int32 ModuleID, String FieldTitle, Boolean Required, String FieldType, String Default, Boolean Visible, String ExtendedSettings) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.UserDefinedTableController.GetFieldsTable(Int32 ModuleId, Boolean InsertNewField, Boolean AddSpecialFieldTypes) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.ManageUserDefinedTable.BindData(Boolean blnInsertField) at DotNetNuke.Modules.UserDefinedTable.ManageUserDefinedTable.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Thanks!

this looks like the upgrade skirpt did not run, most likely you originally installed UDT 3.3.x on a DNN version prior to DNN 3.3.0. In this case, you need either to uninstall and re-install the module (losing all existing UDT content) or to run the script in file 03.03.00.SqlDataProvider manually from Host :: SQL (check the execute script option).

The problem you are experiencing is very similar to one I experienced.  My issue was actually in the web.config file.  I had only configured one of the two database connection strings correctly.  See the link below for more on that:

Hope this helps or at least gives you a direction to go…

Robert
