The core Repository module keeps track of the number of downloads for each item, you might want to check it out.

Yes, I know, but the core module repository have:
1- problems with Help Module / problems with cache settings
2- can not display the author as I wish (it puts the author based on the person who submit the file). And I want the author to be a free text editable. Is this possible anyway by changing something in the database ??? (Author are linked to user account or could I edit the field manually inthe dbb ?

Hello,

I am back with my questions...
I am using the document module, which tracks the click (through the table Urltracking).
How could I display the results with the report module ??

In fact, I need help to build the SQL query, because doing select Url,CreatedDate,Clicks FROM UrlTracking WHERE ModuleID='xxx' ORDER BY Clicks DESC is easy, but I have some "Url" which are "FileID=xxx" and I would like to take the name of the file into the table Documents (which contains the title name of the "FileID").
