It seems smiles work here.  On my site all I get is the standard smilie no matter which one I pick.  Do I just have something set up wrong?

Also nothing ever shows up under the whats new scroll statisic.

yup installed the new gallery, but it has an error on the normal page.  The forum part seems to be working.  I have not tried to add any pictures though.

So I've update the forums to the latest install and the 'whats new' scroll still does not work.  It never gets any info.  Is there something else I need to do?  Do I need rss feeds on?

There are some logic issues in the What's New.  If you view the past year I bet it will show a bunch of posts.
