Dan,

Check to make sure that "Enable Image Tag?" is turned on. After that you should  add extra systemavatars which you should attach, on a per user basis, to the appropriate users.

The extra avatar can be set in the admin settings for each user in the forum adminstration. This is not a role based option.

Good luck,

Marc

Dan,

As far as i can see it, you've done everything right. I have done exactly the same and it did the trick for me. I don't know what you should do next to get this thing working. Hopefully Chris can jump in so that you may have your solution.

You could check you log viewer to see if is some kind of message which might refer to this issue.

Sorry that i can't help you any further.

Good luck,

Marc

refer to http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/8/threadid/66581/scope/posts/Default.aspx

it seems like a bug from what  browsed of the source code.

seems to work fine now, though there are other controls that are also marked as readonly and result in functionality loss.

Marc,

Thanks for your support must I say, I had run the gallery wizzard and all but was all in vain.

It's all working now, 1st I upgraded my Gallery module which killed my site, this brought up errors like,  my "gallery.config" and such other files were ambiguous, traced this to a Gallery folder in my app_code directory which should not have been there in the first place.  I moved this outside the site directory and my site started to work again.

Next problem encountered was the same as Sethhers and I managed to fix this as well.

Everything seems to work well upto this point.

My next question, how do you choose the avatars that already on the website?  Whenever I want to add an avatar, am always prresented with an upload windows and not any of the avatars on my suystem.

Any clues?

Thanks a lot,

James
