But it works in the BLOG module, it should be able to work in the repository module.

Yes I've used it on the splash page of my site using the text/html module.  So I know it can be done, just not in the forums.  If this was a core issue wouldn't it happen with the text/html module as well?

So this still apears to be a problem as of 4.08? I'm still having the problem anyway. Is this being addressed by anyone on the core team as being an issue?
