I too am getting this error when I try to enter General Settings in Admin.  I didn't have this issue on my practise sites.  I did have to delete the dll's in the BIN folder and redo the upgrade in order to get the forum to work, but not sure if thats related at all.  Any ideas on how to fix this issue?  I really really like the new forum and would love to get it working on my live site.

This evening I am going to create a pinned thread that is the SQL you can run from Hosts -> SQL that will populate the lists. I will provide further instructions when I post that thread, as well as the SQL.

I haven't gotten to it yet. You can manage lists from Host -> Lists though. THe forum ones are obvious since they start w/ the word Forum.
