This is a bug. You can. however, get around this by going into your "My Settings" and checking the forum that you are having issues creating a new thread in. This will immediately fix the issue.

I have a user with this problem.  Should she check the forum in Tracking/Subscriptions?

Is it the intended behavior that moderated posts show in the thread view before they are approved?

 

That is to say, in the aggregated view the latest post in thread 'x' is shown by user 'y' at such and such time- but clicking the link to that post does NOT show the post...

Not all users are moderated, and those of us that are NOT moderated are still getting the message as if we are moderated even though it is visible right away.  This is another bug in the system.
