Hi Guys.

Can't seem to get a fix for this error in another thread...but that thread got a bit confusing...so here it is.

 

I've upgraded to the new forum...and I'm running the latest DNN Core.  I get this error when I try to enter General Settings in Admin for the forum module.

 

Error: Forum Configuration is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.Settings.BindMemberNameTypes() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.Settings.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

 

Anyone got a fix for this?

Hello Dave,

 

Your DNN 4.6.2 was a new installation or a upgrade?  If it was a upgrade from what version you did upgrading? 

Also try to clear the Cache in Hostsettings and restart the Application please.

Hi.

I upgraded from DNN 4.3.4 to 4.6.2.

 

I've tried clearing the cache and Restarting Application...and tried again just before this post and have had no luck.

THis looks like that darn lists error. I will post the SQL for this shortly.

Thanks a heap for the SQL post.

I ran it, and despite getting an error...it fixed the issues in the forum for me as far as I can see.
