What are the multiple records though? Are they reads, pm posts, pm threads? I am still investigating what the cause of this actually is (how this happend or is it bad SQL) and any help is appreciated.

It seems to be a bug in the dbo.Forum_PM_GetMessageStatus stored procedure. When I executed this from the sql Enterprise Manager entering my userId and portalId it returned me the same error.

Now that I cleaned this 3 tables I have the next issue: when I send a PM, this goes to my "Inbox" folder as unread, and the "new message" icon blinks to me. Is this an iusse related withs this bug?

P.D.: sorry for my english

Has anyone any more info on this issue. I seem to have the same problem with one user, however I'm not prepared to 'dump' tables if this is not a viable solution...

Has there been any progress on this issue?  I just upgraded my forum module to 4.05.03 and now I have the same issue with my admin login.

I did the same as you, deleted all rows in the 3 tables, and it worked as well for me :-) Luckily my members hadn't used the PM function in any great degree...phew! I don't have any issue after doing, this as I've seen anyway.
