Try to add to the httpRuntime settings executionTimeout="1200" to your web.config file.

That helped Mathias!

Apparently, with a clean install there's a LOT of SQL stuff going on - adding executionTimeout="1200" to the httpRuntime line in web.config worked and the installation completed.

I did receive the following error though - in spite of this the final message was "Installation Successful

Prior to this "fresh" install I DID DELETE the table 'dbo.Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails' so it was gone - and the constraints also...

There are 2 other constraints on the dbo.Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails table: DF__Forum_Ema_DateA__46E920BA and DF__Forum_Ema_IsCom__45F4FC81

When I script the first one to a query window it APPEARS to be the same as the constraint that errored below.
Could I just rename this constraint to DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_DateAdded?
I tried renaming (by right-clicking the constraint name and selecting Rename) but when I hit enter to save the name change the name reverted back to the odd one above ending in '46E920BA'...

What's up with this?
Is there a length limit on object names in SQL2005???
Possibly set to 40 (the one constraint that was created is 37 chars - DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_Failed)

Thanks,
Doug

Well...

I was able to script the "DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_Failed constraint and using that script as a template, edit it to properly create the other 2 as follows.

Before running the scripts I deleted the oddly named constraints (which by the way DID NOT have the 'ADD CONSTRAINT' line when scripted).

USE [Portal]
GO
ALTER TABLE [dbo].[Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails]
ADD CONSTRAINT [DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_DateAdded]
DEFAULT (GETDATE()) FOR [DateAdded]

USE [Portal]
GO
ALTER TABLE [dbo].[Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails]
ADD CONSTRAINT [DF_Forum_EmailQueue_TaskEmails_IsComplete]
DEFAULT ((0)) FOR [IsComplete]

I've begun configuring groups & forums and changing settings - everything appears to be working fine...

Thanks for all the help Mathias!
Doug
