I've selected a default forum in the module settings, but the forum doesn't display all the threads in that forum when the user first enters the page.

The documentation indicates that it should be showing the threads.

I can't find anything about this problem in the DNN forums, can anyone help me out?

Please try to clear the cache.  I think this is a caching issue.

I tried clearing my browser cache, and DNN's cache. I also switched DNN to 'No Caching", but it didn't help.

The module still displays the Forum I selected as the default forum, not the threads within.

Any other suggestions?

This is a missunderstanding of the function.  If you set a Standard Forfaumgroup and you select a Forum from this group on the module settings it added only this Forum to the Foruminstance you used but did not display the threads insinde this Forum by default.

This feature is as example to add a Forum instance to a Module presentation page with only the view to the Forum that covered the theme of this module.

I'm not talking about the Forum Group setting, I'm talking about the Default  Forum setting, as described on page 16 of the Forum Documentation (Forum_4.4.4_Complete.pdf):

"The Default Forum feature allows you to select a forum from a group that will be displayed when users first navigate to the page. Another way to say this is that when a default forum is selected, users will see the threads contained within that forum when they first visit the page."
