I took a look at the SqlDataProvider scripts.  The columns in question from the Forum_Users table were dropped in version 4.6.1.  The view itself is supposed to be dropped in the 5.0.1 SqlDataProvider script, but the script isn't dropping it.  There are no errors when Forum 5.0.1 installs.

My mistake.  The view doesn't get dropped.  My file searcher found the drop in the uninstall script.

great you were able to identify the problem, though I have no idea, what caused it.
