in Host > Html Editor Manager, you should be able to configure the editor. There should be options for allowed file types, otherwise you might want to install another editor provider, I usually prefer http://dnnckeditor.codeplex.com (which is default editor in DNN 8)

Excellent!  I have been able to make the changes I need.  I will check out the new editor, though, since we will be upgrading sooner or later.  PowerDNN is only supporting up to 7.4 at this time but I expect 8 to be supported by the time I move this to their servers.  You have been an enormous help.  Thanks!

P.S.  I was looking at this plugin for CKEditor

http://ckeditor.com/addon/embed

Have you tried adding a plugin to the Dnn version?

AFAIK embed is included in Watchers.Net CKEditor provider, while all of the plugins got ripped out from DNN-Connect CKEditor provider for DNN release 8.0.2

This is supposed to work with 5,6 and 7.  If I install it, will the upgrade to DNN 8 overwrite and remove the plugins?  I wonder if I can add the plugins back in after upgrading to DNN 8 if it removes them.

CK editor provider from Ingo should work fine on DNN 8 as well.
DNN Connect CK Editor provider will be installed side by side and should not interfere.
