When I change my timezone in my profile, it changes the way the time stamp displays.  If I select CT then it works fine, otherwise it is wrong.  My host powerdnn is in CT and I wonder if it may have something to do with that.

Thanks for all your help Crispy.  The forum is a great module and I understand you have limited time so thanks for the reply.

Crispy:

Just to let you know what I see on these forums looking at the aggregated view of posts.

My time zone is GMT -7
The fist post's date shows 10/28/2006 @ 8:55 AM - This is the correct date & time as far as I am concerned.
The last post with a date and time in the list is 10/28/2006 @ 1:40 AM

The next post in the list shows TODAY @ 11:00 PM

I have made sure I have selected the correct time zone in my user profile.

Does the problem appear to be that the usage of Today and Yesterday is off, or the actual time is not working properly?

If you set the member profile to Central Time then all works well.  If you change it to Pacific Time it will not work right.  The "Today and Yesterday" shows up wrong and most of the time.  At about 10:00PM Pacific Time, when user set to pacific time, then everything returns to normal.  That last for about six hours and then it is wrong again.

I love the Today and Yesterday feature, but when it is wrong, the users get confused and it is hard to track what post you have read.

Even the DotNetNuke forum is incorrect.  In the morning hours, it works, then it changes to wrong settings.  The date, when it appears, always seems to be correct.  The only time the time stamp is wrong is when it shows with "Today and Yesterday" label.

Thanks Again,

Andy
