Hi,

Has this problem been solved by anyone? If so, please share the infor cause i'm having the same kind of problem.

In my case it is probably true that while setting the forum up on this page i have deleted a forum. As host-user i'm able to edit my settings but when logging in with non-admin rights i receive the error.

Please advise,

Marc

I had the identical problem but I was able to solve the issue. This may or may not help all of you but it is worth a try. I am using Dotnetnuke version 3.2.2 and use Visual Studio.Net 2003. I downloaded the source file for Forum 3.20.08 and opened up the Project. Look for the file "FormUtils.vb" It is located in the Forums folder under "Components/Utilities". On line 222 you will see the following:

forumMail.To = PMRecipientUser.Email

SmtpMail.Send(forumMail)

change this to read:

forumMail.To = PMRecipientUser.UserEmail

SmtpMail.Send(forumMail)

Recomplile and see if this works for you. I hope it does and good luck to all of you.
