As of right now the next version of the Wiki module hasn't progressed at all. I hope to start working on it in the next few weeks as I get settled down in California a bit.

I will be looking into how we can use the upcoming taxonomy in the Wiki releases, but I can't put a date on that just yet. As soon as we release utilizing that Taxonomy we will limit the use of the Wiki module for anyone running older versions of DNN.

It is likely we'll have another minor release of the Wiki here in the next couple months, with a larger release a little further off.
