Hey Chris... Pauldes is kinda on the right path... not sure about adding all the links to the home page or not, since my preference it to keep it clean with some instructions on there on how to use the wiki. I like how the dnnwiki site allows you to add a new topic using a textbox. That's great stuff.
I would envision it like this... it's pretty simple. In the left nav area, I would have another option that says something like "Add Topic". When you click on this option, a screen would show up in the right body area with an empty text box waiting for input for a Topic Name, with 'go' next to it... much like what you'd see when you click on "Search". I think that once you hit 'go', that it lauches to this new empty topic page that you just created, ready for you to add content to.
The way our users have been using our wiki is not through crosslinking from other pages (although that helps), but most users find what they're looking for through the search, or from their RSS subscriptions on newly updated content. I think it would be fantastic (eventhough it would add another level of complexity to the program itself), is to have it automatically create topic cross links within the content itself based on the already existing list of indexed topics after you save the topic so that you don't have to manually go through the content and add all the [[topic name]] topics yourself. That would really make things easy and automatic, allowing for better crosslinking between topic pages. Perhaps this could be an option whether or not you want to have this happen when you save & close. Dunno... :)
Thanks very much for your hard work on all this! I'm checking the dnn site every day for news and updates... always looking forward to the day when you'll post the newest version out there! :)
Take care!
Mike
