Thanks for the feedback d.scott, I did some testing with this. Right now the index links all get a class called CommandButton wrapped around them. Is your skin configured where that class has a nowrap defined on it? I've tested with this page and it works just fine in FF or IE7 from what I can see.

I put up a new release for Beta, still the same version number 04.01.00, just upload the new version and you'll get the latest fixes.

Fixes from the previous beta release

SEO section is now wrapped in a DNN SectionHead control minimizing the usage of the page until expanded.
Restore of a history version replaces the SEO title/description/keywords
Editing or Adding an item now does a response.redirect to the URL of the page, rather than just a postback, this fixes issues with topic titles not getting reset until a page refresh
DNN Search integration now indexes the Keywords, Descriptions, as well as the Page Title if a title is defined
Localized text that wasn't localized in Router.ascx

As always, it is recommended that you backup your site/db before you install ANY module.

  1. If I change the page title of an existing page, it creates a new page instead of updateing the old one (Showstopper)
  2. If changeing of the page title would work as suggest, what will happen to all existing links? Will they break?
  3. The add button is on the wrong position. Even if there is a high demand of having a "add" button, it should not get placed as THE major important command. Please make it a module action command.
  4. UI: Please use common CSS Classes. DnnLabels should be set up as SubHead, and the section head should use "Normal Bold" like the section heads at the bottom
  5. Dnn04.00.01.ressouces is not deleted during install

Item 1, do you mean the Page Name? There is a warning in there about changing the name, if you change it you do create a totally new page. In a future version we can look at linking these together but it won't make it in the 04.01.00 release.

Item 2, links go to the Page Name, if you modify this they will point to the old page.

Item 3, this isn't possible at this phase in the process, the module needs a complete overhaul to allow for putting the add link elsewhere. Unfortunately the module is setup in a manner that loads the topic in an edit or view state, all within the same control, not within different controls. I hope to rework this in then next major release that will allow for better UI

Item 4, CSS and UI will get an overhaul in the next major release

Item 5, I will look into this before submitting to the release tracker.

The main goal of this release is to fix the big bugs that exist in the current release of the module. Clean up a few items and add a new needed feature. The next releases of the module will address the larger issues that must be addressed such as IPortable and the UI of the module.

I'll have a new release of the beta out later today. It should fix a few of the current issues.

Fixes to the comment functionality

CSS formatting should be more consistent

Another localization issue found on the comments

You will no longer be able to change a page name once created, only the titles for that page. In a future release we'll work to allow changing a page name and linking between versions.
