it is an additional attribute of the menu tag in your skin.ascx (or, if you are creating skin using skin.html, you need to add it to skin.xml)

thanks my frnd.. it helped me to align the menu text to right.
but my requirement is to display submenus on the leftside of rootmenu items..
for the arabic site, am using a vertical menu for the site.
and placing the menu on the right side of the page. wen i mouse over the menu, the submenus should appear on the left of the menu.. hw to achieve it?? can it be possible by changing the css, by adding or editing any class there?? or in the spmenu.js??

You will need to add dir="rtl" to your body tag to get the menu to work this way.  To see an example click this link and then click the Display RTL checkbox at the bottom.
