Not sure I follow - the page uses HTML modules, but surely it is the page that needs the hreflang tags?

hreflang is a link property, maybe the rich text editor in adding this property?

I can confirm the OPs reported issued. To elaborate, in version 8.00.02, DNN is not properly setting the HREFLANG attribute in the HTML HEAD section as specified in the following article: https://support.google.com/webmasters...

For example, if you have 4 languages, the following HTML should be generated to target internationally:

...
http://example.com/en" hreflang="en" />
http://example.com/en-ie" hreflang="en-ie" />
http://example.com/en-ca" hreflang="en-ca" />
http://example.com/en-au" hreflang="en-au" />
...

The value of the HREFLANG attribute identifies the language (in ISO 639-1 format) and optionally the region (in ISO 3166-1 Alpha 2 format) of an alternate URL.

Without this support, it is cumbersome to administer this manually.

I can confirm the OPs reported issue. DNN (8.00.02) does not properly set the HREFLANG links/attribute in the HEAD section for international targeting as specified in the following Google article: https://support.google.com/webmasters...
