It didn´t work mikeh... I had evaluated almost all the aspcts of DNN and IIS. I´m not very acquainted with AD... may be it´s a policy matter. It´s not a privilege issue: although it´s not enough that the ad user that i´m using to validate from dnn do not need more that user privileges, i gave him admin privileges... anyway, it doesn´t work.

Mike... I tried changing the domain name... and... went OK! The previous name was "dev.dom1.com" and instead i named it "dev.dom1".

I think that the authentication code in dnn does not work with complex names. I will see the code and anything that i can do, i will tell you.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hmmmm, that shouldn't have made a difference. When I first started testing AD over a year ago the domain at work was nait.ab.ca and it worked fine. Do me a favor and check your AD through Active Directory Users and Computers. Does it say dev.dom1.com at the root of just dev.dom1?

The one that doesn´t work is dev.dom1.com and the other is dev.dom1 (this goes OK)

I realize that. What I'm asking is what the name of the Active Directory is that they're authenticating to is?

I don´t know if i´m understanding the questión, but the name of the domain is dev.dom1. Do you want to know the name of the server? is dev01...

If I enter to active directory user and computers administration console (administrative tools) i see this name: dev.dom1 as the name of the configurated active directory.
