Rocky,

I'm unsure of exactly what help you're looking for. Could you give me a little bit more detail please?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for quick turn around.

Here go the details again. I have installed the AD authentication provider on a site and also gave domain names while configuring it. I did not have a AD account/password while I was doing it, so I left the account/password fields empty thinking I can re-visit them later. (Dont know if I will be able to). But after changing the authentication to AD account. I am not sure how do I login to my host and admin accounts ? One more thing, I noticed from other posts that the roles should match exactly as to what the AD has for group names. I did not create any role in the site when I switched to AD. Do you think I have a way around ? Please let me know.

regards,
Rocky

Did you turn off the Standard DNN Login when you enabled the AD Provider on the Admin->Authentication page? If you did then you can re-enable it by going into the ModuleSettings table and looking for DNN_Enabled and setting that to "True". If you didn't then you should be able to click on Login and there should be two choices (Standard and Windows Signin). Select Standard and enter your admin/host credentials. If you disabled the Standard DNN login from under Host->Site Settings then I'll have to do some checking. It might be as simple as going into the Authentication table in the database and setting Enabled back to True but I'm not positive.

As far as the Roles go, you can create those at any time. It doesn't have to be done before going active with the AD provider.
