I am disabling the logoff feature for users.  I am running DNN with AD on an intranet.  I can make Active Directory users Administrators.  Can I make my Active Directory user account a host so that I don't have to login as Host when I need to make changes?  We use PKI-Certification, so its not a simple Username/Password, which is why I am disabling the logoff button.

Manually open the Users table, find your user, and set IsSuperUser to True or 1 (depending on what version of SQL you're using).

Can I make users of an AD group administrators and/or host users of my intranet site?

Yes, once they visit the site the first time their account will show up in the User Accounts menu, you can then add them to the Administrator group with no problem.  If you want to make them a host (superuser) account, follow the instructions Mike listed earlier in this thread.
