Question: To set the min. password length for AD, Is there another place besided the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider[minRequiredPasswordLength]? It seems to a newbie that the AspNetprovider settings should not effect the AD settings.

Mike,

Question: To set the min. password length for AD, Is there another place besided the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider[minRequiredPasswordLength]? It seems to a newbie that the AspNetprovider settings should not effect the AD settings.

I'm used to filling out a standard AD membership provider for Asp.net apps, will those settings map?

TY

When you login manually you're riding on top of the standard DNN login code so it follows the rules set for the DNN password length. So that's the only place you need to set it.
