i am not able to find the DNN version.. but i asked my network admin for active directory version(2008), actually i am an trainee working on dotnetnuke, so i am not aware fully about dotnetnuke

If you log in with Host credentials for the DNN portal and look under Host->Host Settings you'll see the DNN version near the top.

The AD provider version that I'm looking for is the for the provider that's installed on DNN not what server OS you're running your AD on (but I should be able to figure that out by the DNN version).

dnn version is 04.08.04... i don know why the user is not able to log for the first time itself.... so kindly do the needfull..

Ahh okay now we're good. I'm surprised you're not seeing any error messages if it's what I'm thinking it is.

I'm going to suggest you try the .04 beta of the AD provider (http://dnn.gmss.org) and see if that fixes the problem. *NOTE: Make sure you backup your website and your database in case you have to restore your site. It's just good practice before doing any updates.
