You have two choices. Leave DNN authentication enabled or you can manually promote your user acount to Host in the database. To do that open the Users table and find your account. Change IsSuperUser to True.

I had a browser with Host still loged in so I am able to login both with DNN and AD authentication.  My next question is how do I assign a AD user host rights so I only have to use AD authentication?

Hello,

 

We are also looking for an updated document for windows2008/IIS7.0. I read that we could use the Vitsa instructions but wondered how close you were for documentation for 2008/IIS7.0
