Ummm yes and no. I've got the error fixed but I'm working on some more bug fixes before I submit the provider to the Release Tracker process.

Thanks for your work Mike.

I am having the same problem as Christian (the endless looping on User Creation).

I am using Portal version 5.0.1 (community source) and Active Directory Project version 5.0.1 (source).

Any ideas when there will be a newer one that corrects this behavior?

I think you've got a different problem than Christian. The UserCreateStatus is a one time error when a user manually logs in if they don't already have an account but it doesn't stop the account from being created and the next time they try to login it's all good (no error).

From your post it sounds like you're getting an endless loop and the user account is never created or the user never gets logged in. Is this correct? If it is then what type of authentication have you got your web.config set to (Windows or forms)?

Settings are applied now under Admin->Extensions (click on the pencil icon beside the provider). I'll try to get updated documentation done for DNN 5 this weekend.

I've been able to get the AD extension installed and working, I think, I'm running it from a server that has trust in place with the main AD server. When I try to login it doesn't work. Also when I try to change the web.config Authentication it has a confict with a different Authentication line.

You mentioned that you would be completing a manual, have you been able to finish it?

Thanks, Garry

Garry, use the 01.00.04 version of the documentation as it's the same except for where the provider is setup in the portal. I've been busy with other work and unfortunately updating the documentation has taken a backseat.
