Hi all,

Is there any way to don't have to type the domain in the username texbox when login with AD ?
Actually, i need to type the login as it :

username : DOMAIN\Username
Password : password

I just have one domain in my AD and then i really don't want to have to type a such username with domain...

Thanks ffor your help!

If you scroll down towards the bottom of the thread you'll see a post by me that has the changes needed for the current version of the provider.

Dear Mark,

Thank you for your reply. It works well on my installation !
But now I have another question : is there any way to add my own AD user account as dnn host and dnn admin and then disable the DNN Authentication.
In fact, my users will be disappointed if they have to choose between Windows Logon or Standard Logon, and so I want to disable Standard logon.

When I hide logons buttons, I can connect with Admin or Host account, but not with any AD accounts...

Many thanks
Jocelyn

You have to do it manually but it can be done. If you find your account in the database Users table and change IsSuperUser to 1 or "True" you'll have host priviledges on the DNN install. Then you can disable the DNN login and only the Windows login will show up.

Mike, one more time thanks for that, all works perfectly.

I have other questions concerning Active Directory Provider but I will post them in a new thread.

Have a nice day
J.
