All I can suggest is looking at differences between the two installs that might have anything to do with authentication. My line of thinking is that there's a file or files that have stuck around during the upgrade that are making a mess of things.

After several hours, I could not find any files that were different and made a difference in login. 

Here’s what I have discovered:

-  The information in the DNN User Accounts (Doamin\Username) for the people that can’t login is incomplete.

-  If I delete the user from DNN User Accounts, they can login from the login page but auto login isn’t working for just them.

Any Thoughts?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. What do you mean the information is incomplete? Can you give me an example?

I'm really confused on how they can manually login but not automatically login as both processes work exactly the same. Are you getting the same error message in the eventviewer when it fails as you posted in your first post?
