Items 1-4 are in the red status box after updating settings is clicked.
1) Accessing Global Catalog - ok
2) Checking Root Domain - Failed
3) Accessing LDAP - OK
4) Find all domains in network
Could not access LDAP to obtain domains info

I have tried to uncomment/edit out the :

Now all I get is server errors?

Is this module only for PRO or something?
Because we dont have an impersonation module? Does that impersonate user?

Please help

You shouldn't need to modify the web.config at all unless you are attempting to do impersonation.

If you get an error like that, it is usually due to what you put into the provider settings for that portal. Check your settings (compare them to the help hint), and test it again.

OK, I finally got the setting to work. Got the green box after update settings.

But now, I cannot get the authentication setting in IIS set up for WindowsSignin.aspx. It just gives an error, and does not display the status.

The error says this configuration section cannot be used at this path. This happens when the section is locked at parent level. blah, blah blah.

Does anyone know how to get this thing to work?

What version of IIS are you running this on? If IIS 7.x are you running under integrated or classic pipeline?
