Dan how did you point everyone to windowsignin.aspx? Through GPO? The problem I run into with that is that I can't affect the GPO for the whole school but only our OU and so far any changes I try to make manually to my settings are immediately overwritten by the GPO.

Are you saying you don't have access to the whole AD structure?  Or are you saying that you've only been able to get it working by editing your OU?

GPO works in orderly method, meaning that the last GPO that is applied to a particular login is the one that will have the end-effect.  If the changes you made aren't sticking, then there is a GPO that is being applied "after" the one you are editing.

Basically, you have to set the URL to yourwebserver/DesktopModules/Authentication/Logon.aspx, and add your domain in as a trusted Site.  Both of these options are in the User Configuration->Internet Explorer Maintenance menu...

In order to allow AD to login automatically, you will have to change one more setting.

Just a quick note here...  this worked great for me for about 3 days and then just stopped working (as for automatically logging in).  So until I find out how to fix it, don't hold me to this statement!

Just call me dingleberry...  YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE INTRANET SETTING ON EVERY COMPUTER for it to work...  go figure! lol

Only I could do is to change to windows authtication mode in web.config, all the users will automatically login, but new problem is unable to logout anymore, sometime, I need logout my network login, and login as host to manage site, but that is not available after changed to windows authtication mode.

Any suggestion would be apprecaited.
